5 Days

Day 1: Arrival - De Djawatan - Red Island

Pick up at Banyuwangi International Airport (BWX)
Check in Hotel / Homestay

Visit De Djawatan Forest (tropical rainforest with ancient trees)
Enjoy sunset and surfing view at Red Island
Dinner & rest (Early sleep to prepare for Ijen)

Day 2: Ijen Crater Blue Fire Midnight Trek

Midnight pick up at hotel (around 00:30 AM)
Drive to Paltuding Post (Ijen Basecamp)
Begin trekking to Ijen Crater (approx. 1.5 - 2 hours)
Witness the Blue Fire phenomenon and sunrise
Explore the crater lake edge
Trek down, return to Paltuding
Transfer back to hotel, breakfast, rest

Day 3: Tabuhan Island Snorkeling

Breakfast at hotel
Transfer to Kampe Bay Harbor
Boat ride to Tabuhan Island (untouched white sand island)
Free time: Snorkeling, swimming, relaxing
Lunch provided on the island / boat
Return to mainland in the afternoon

Day 4: Baluran National Park Safari

Journey to Baluran National Park

Is the Blue Fire at Ijen Crater guaranteed to be seen?

While the Blue Fire is a natural phenomenon and is usually visible year-round, visibility can be affected by extreme weather or high sulfuric gas levels. Safety always comes first, and the local ranger will dictate if it is safe to approach the blue fire area.
